About Goro’s Japanese Lab

Review what you’ve learned in Irodori and prepare for JFT-Basic.

Goro’s Japanese Lab is operated by Goro’s Japanese Lab. It is designed for learners who have studied Irodori in class or independently and want to review and practise familiar Japanese.

What you can practise

• Vocabulary, verbs, adjectives and grammar by course, lesson, topic and importance.
• Kana, numbers, listening and reading practice.
• Unofficial mock tests and review of mistakes.

Independent practice

This website is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Japan Foundation or the organisations administering JFT-Basic. Irodori and JFT-Basic are referenced to describe the learning materials and preparation goals. Mock test scores are practice scores, not official examination results or a guarantee of passing.

Learning references

The course and lesson organisation refers to Irodori: Japanese for Life in Japan, published by the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa, including its vocabulary and sentence-pattern lists. Official materials and their rights remain with their respective rights holders. See the official usage guidelines.
